2011 Blog Intro

7 Jan

What better way to get the New Year off to a good start than by identifying what would be meaningful and valuable to post each week for those of us interested in optimizing our effectiveness when interacting with others, as well as, when working with one’s self optimizing our own performance.

As you may or may not know, a new book came out on self control which is saying that we are so externally focused that we need to start looking to ourselves to make things happen as opposed to looking to others.

Naturally, these are not new concepts.  In 2000, I wrote about the importance of utilizing control to create a success momentum in one’s life.  In order to make time worthwhile for those of you who start following this blog, each week, we are going to provide valuable coaching insights and techniques for enhancing performance. For the past 3 decades, we at Bright Enterprises have searched for identified and developed effective skills and technique for Enhancing Performance many of the skills and concept have written about in 5 books I have authored on leadership communication, teamwork and turning stress into positive energy. Each blog will introduce something well worth your reading. They will highlight everyday situations that are common to all of us.

In the conclusion of each blog, we welcome your comments, reactions and ideas. After all, no one has a patent on what it takes to perform optimally!
